When it’s time to take the Christmas wreath off the front door I always feel a bit let down, and I can’t help but imagine the poor door shivering naked in the cold winter air.
I know the stores immediately restocked all the Christmas shelves with new goodies in anticipation of that sweetheart of a February holiday, but it’s still too early to hang a Valentine wreath on my door. It’s also too early for springtime florals, even though I’d love to see something in bloom.

I love your wreath, Anita! Your guests will feel very welcomed when they come to your door. I want to try some of that deco mesh ribbon as I love the look.

Anita,
Your wreath looks great with all its bright colors. I felt the same way when I took my Christmas wreath off the door.
I haven't decided what to do yet so I've been looking at Pinterest for some ideas.
Happy January!

That's a lovely wreath. It reminds me a little bit of Mardi Gras, too, also appropriate for January. : )

I love your wreath! I had also been wondering what to put on my door before spring gets here. We don't really have a winter down here, a few cold days here and there but then it's back to warm weather. But still I didn't want to put out a springtime wreath. Thank you for a great idea!

Hi Nita! i am so glad i found you. i am sure many have said that, but believe me, you have made my day, week, lifetime! Your recipes are out of this world. Your blog is inspiring. Your crafts are the bee's knees. You are just what i have been anticipating. i am so content that i waited for you. Now i can stop all this surfing and searching. i have found the BEST!
So, about your COOL January wreath, i think it would be better without the green. The blue, purple, and pink all say winter, but the green says, "a warm spring day!" When i make mine, i will leave out the green. i truly love this wreath. It will be uplifting during a time that is usually so depressing. With all the Christmas lights gone, the sparkle and bling will add just the right tone to put smiles on faces. Aunt Nubby, again, you are the BEST!
