Anita Stafford grew up on a dairy farm in northern Arkansas. She has a large extended family, including twenty-eight first cousins at last count. She is intrigued by the study of family genealogy and has discovered some colorful individuals among her Scottish-Irish-Welsh ancestors.
Anita is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has worked in public school as a teacher and a counselor. She is a writer of middle-grade fiction, picture books, and non-fiction. She’s a peacemaker who loves cooking, organizing, and making lists. Her mission is to help both children and adults live a happier and more productive life through her writing.
