When gathering the goodies for the Easter baskets this year, don’t forget the books! Long after the chocolate bunnies, Cadbury eggs, and Peeps are gone, a book will be there to enjoy. Whatever you fill those baskets with, plan ahead. As frustrating as it may be, shortages and shipping delays seem to be the new normal. Even something as benign as a saltine cracker has been impossible for me to buy for months. Easter doesn’t fall until April 17 this year, but considering the current situation, it’s probably time to be thinking about making preparations. And, if you want to make something fun with the kids, try putting together some Pretzel Peeps.
