I used a small basket and hot glued a piece of foam inside. Then I stuck 65 suckers into the foam, and added a sprinkling of shiny basket shreds around the edges and in between the candies. I finished it off by tying a bow of netting around the basket and using a craft stick to hold the sign I had printed that announced “65 sucks”.
At 65 Cathy is still working full time as a school librarian, and is enjoying her family, friends, and life.

Thank you, dear friend. You know what payback are, don't you. What goes around, comes back around. I love my "sack sisters". I guess now you will have to explain how we 4 got that name. Yes, it revolves around a girlie gift sack that we recycle with each birthday. We are very different in many ways, but we are loyal, steadfast, and great friends. I love my "sack sister and will always be there for ya'll. Thank you all for a great early birthday and look forward to many more.

Anita,
How cute! You are so creative. I love the idea and have a friend turning 60 in April that would get a real kick out of that.

That is absolutely darling! What a great idea and I'm sure you lightened her 65th birthday with that bit of humor! She should be proud of her age and her accomplishments and it sounds like she has some great friends!

I love this creative idea for birthday gifts….but 65 can't be that bad, since that means another year of having a great friend like you! Hope Cathy had a great birthday, regardless of the number. Thanks for sharing your crafts and recipes at my party each week!
