Daniel spiced up dinner the last night of our vacation in Gulf Shores with some grilled sriracha burgers. He used dried minced onion, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and sriracha hot chili sauce in the ground beef for those who were willing to submit. He also made some ordinary burgers for the not-so-brave of the taste buds.
In 1 1/2 pounds of ground beef, Daniel used about 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce, about 3 tablespoons sriracha sauce, about 1 tablespoon dried minced onions, and salt and pepper to taste.
He mixed all the ingredients together well and made 6 spicy patties.
Daniel, his dad, and Spencer had the charcoal grill fired up. They put the burgers on the hot grill to cook.
Daniel’s condiment of choice for spreading on the hamburger buns is a mixture of blue cheese dressing and hot chili sauce.
He used about half a cup of blue cheese dressing mixed with 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce.
There were also sliced tomatoes and arugula to dress the burgers.
The burgers were finally done, and he made some with American cheese and some with Swiss cheese.
They were truly awesome.
After the sriracha burgers, we celebrated a couple of birthdays. Both Daniel and Landon have birthdays coming up soon, so we wanted to celebrate them while we were together.

Those look delicious Anita! I just recently bought a bottle of sriracha sauce and I love it so much. 😀 I'll be bookmarking these to make for sure.

I love finding ways to turn a regular meal into a tasty treat. That's what these dressed up burgers sound like. Not so sure my stomach could handle that hot sauce, but my brother who puts hot sauce on everything would surely love them. Thanks for the recipe and for joining the Grill, BBQ, and Picnic Party.
