These little sandwiches are baked and glazed with a wonderful sweet poppy seed sauce. They can be prepared ahead, refrigerated, and baked just before serving for a super easy dinner or a fast party tray. My sister and I made these for a crowd over the weekend, and they were a big hit.
Sliders
1/2 pound sliced baby swiss cheese
Sauce
1/2 cup butter
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Slice rolls, prepare sandwiches on rolls with a layer each of ham and swiss cheese as desired. Place sandwiches in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
To prepare the sauce: In a medium saucepan, combine butter, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and poppy seeds. Bring just to a boil over medium heat. Pour sauce OVER TOP of sandwiches, cover with foil and bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for about two more minutes.

I make these sliders all the time, for parties! They are so easy and tasty. My only change, I use Dijon mustard.

These were awesome! I made them tonight. I kept the leftover sauce in little bowls for dipping. So good!

Yes Anita these are yummy. I've made a similar recipe but without the brown sugar. Now I need to try them with the brown sugar–honey baked ham sandwiches! Perfect Fathers Day food.
