I’m always on the lookout for new crock pot recipes, and this one for Hawaiian Chicken is a new one that I tried and added to my collection. The version of the recipe that I made was quite delicious, but I used some different items other than those listed in the original recipe. One of the items specified was a particular item from Target, and I do love Target, but the nearest one is 20 miles away, so I don’t get to do my routine shopping there.

Hawaiian Crock Pot Chicken
4 – 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts (I used 10 breast tenderloins)
1 (15.5 ounce) can crushed pineapple
1 (16.5 ounce) bottle Archer Farms Hawaiian style barbecue sauce (found at Target)
Spray crock pot with cooking spray. Place chicken in crock pot, pour pineapple on top of chicken, then pour sauce over all. Cook on LOW for 6 hours.
The ingredients I used varied slightly from the original recipe. I chose breast tenderloins instead of the larger breast portions, and my Hawaiian sauce was a different brand.
Making this! Both my children love teriyaki sauce, so I bet they'd love this too. Once I go back to school (I am a sub) with the kids I know I am going to be using my Crockpot on a weekly basis! I love the tenderloins too, smaller and very tender! Thanks for the recipe!
Oh my goodness! This looks delish. I love crock pot meals, too!
I made it the other day changing the hawaiian sauce for honey bbq. it was sooooo delicious!
Hi there. How about linking this in to Food on Friday: Slow Cooker? Cheers
Oh MMMMMMMy! This sounds fabulous and I am wild about easy recipes like this. Sadly, my hubby doesn't care for BBQ sauce, but I might have to try to sneak this one past him.
I do hope you'll come to Weekend Potluck tomorrow and link up this great recipe. =)
I'm all for a new crock pot recipe. I have a Target close by so I'll try their brand of sauce–because I can. Can't wait to try it.
Chicken is the main meat source at our house so this sounds just right for us and love that it is cooked in the crock pot. Thanks! ——– Shannon
I am going to try this! So glad I just found you via a Pinterest re-pin!
Thank you so much for sharing over at Weekend Potluck (and thank you for linking back!) I just love these kinds of recipes. Perfect for the back to school hustle & bustle. I shared over on my facebook page today. Hope you have a beautiful Sunday!
Looks great and I cant wait to try this but was wondering what to fix with this? What sides would work with this? thanks Heather
Any kind of green salad that you like would be great, or a tomato/cucumber salad, green beans, or baked beans would be my choice. Some of those frozen bags of vegetable medleys that are microwaveable would also be handy! Hope you enjoy!
Hope you are having a great weekend and thank you so much for sharing your awesome recipe with Full Plate Thursday.

Dropping in from Sunflower Supper Club … Congrats on all those 'clicks'!! I'm lovin' this recipe, and I hope you don't mind that I pinned it on Pinterest! Anything with pineapple gets 5 stars from me!! Can't wait to try it!! Thanks so very much for sharing!! 🙂 Going to look around a bit while I'm here! Have a great weekend!
Do the breast tenderloins take less time to cook than the breasts? I worry the chicken will dry out… I haven't had too much luck with chicken breasts in the crockpot 🙁
This recipe looks great though…
I made this for dinner tonight…served it over rice and had oriental veggies on the side…it was yummy! Id recommend it…
I used tenderloins and i cut it with my fork…very tender and juicy..hope this helps.
Does the chicken need to be thawed first? I've never done chicken in the crockpot before.
There is not any need to thaw these tenderloins before putting them in the crock pot, just pop them them in with the other ingredients.
Oh!This looks so good 🙂
Blessings,Renee
Do you drain the pineapple or put the pineapple and the juice in?
I didn't drain the pineapple, but if you want to drain it I think that it would be ok because there is plenty of liquid overall.
Yours Hawaiian Crock Pot Chicken recipe looks yummy. Although i had made almost the same dish but following the some other recipe from the Hawaiian… If you want to try can have a look here Hawaiian CrockPot Chicken recipe
