This recipe is one that I have kept in my 3-ring binder for so many years that I don’t have a source to credit. Over the years I have adjusted the recipe amounts because the size of the oyster cracker packages has changed. During the time that I have been a grocery shopper package sizes seem to be getting smaller. My family has always enjoyed this recipe.

In a small bowl, whisk together oil, dill, garlic, and dry Ranch dressing mix. Place the oyster crackers in a large bowl; pour the oil mixture over the crackers. Mix well. Let set for at least one hour, stirring occasionally.
These ingredients will be used to make a dressing to flavor the oyster crackers.

I love oyster crackers, but sadly can't get them here in England! I think your recipe sounds fantastic – I never thought you could improve on oyster crackers, but I think you definitely have!

My grandma made these for 20+ years before passing this year. She would never bake them like other recipes claim to do. Let them sit, best way and they are super good. She use to use mini ritz bitz crackers so if you can find a mini type cracker about the same size, you can still pull it off and they're just as good!
